Our Story

Angie Star Jewelry was founded in 2002 by sisters and Colorado natives, Angie and Michelle Olsgard. Each year since it has been open Angie Star Jewelry has had the honor of winning 'Best Jewelry Store' in Best of Boulder. There are now several permanent jewelry designers in the shop including the talented works of: Katherine Sanz, Miranda Wachtel, Julie Jagger, Dana Birke, Sara Watts, Britta Ambauen and Jen Leddy. ASJI also supports the work of budding new artists in their accredited apprentice program including: Kit Adams, Katie Brown, Rosa Culbertson, and Heather Ng.

"Our work is created one-of-a-kind, by our own hands, with a great deal of care and love. It is our intention to create work that is timeless, beautiful, and meant to be worn every day. I feel very grateful to be a part of such a meaningful creative process," says Angie, owner of the shop.

The retail gallery and the studio workshop are located on the east end of the well known Pearl Street Mall among upscale shops and trendy restaurants. Custom projects of most any scale and design are welcome, including bridal and engagement sets, expertly designed in recycled and sustainable materials. Unique jewelry collections from the ASJI designers are refreshed almost daily ~ come in and experience the fun, inspiration, and unique work of such talented women.
